Located on the shores of Lake Memphremagog, this chalet is the result of a substantial renovation, creating a serene retreat immersed in nature.

The project is rooted in an approach of reinterpretation and enhancement of the existing structure. The intervention redefines the relationship between the dwelling and its surroundings, revealing the cottage’s potential while improving its comfort and functionality.

The exterior is reinterpreted through materials inspired by the surrounding landscape: the moss brown tones of the forest floor and the mineral grey hues of the shoreline stones.

Inside, the renovation introduces a more fluid layout, open to nature and filled with natural light. The large openings create a constant connection with the landscape, making it a central element of the interior experience.

The result is a warm and refined retreat, where every architectural gesture is carefully considered to create a balance between comfort, simplicity, and respect for the character of the place.
