Embedded within the urban fabric of Little Italy, the vertical extension of this duplex marks the second phase of a transformation initiated in 2021.

The architectural expression preserves the integrity of the original street façade while allowing only a glimpse of the new third storey. The addition is shaped by its context: more assertive at the rear, slopping toward the park, softening the height of the volume while preserving the residents' privacy.

A new parking space and bicycle shelter are introduced at the rear, while layered planting and a discreet screen conceal the waste collection areas at the front.

The project extends the living spaces outdoors, opening the home to its urban surroundings.
